The item arrived without any cracks/damage and was beautiful. This item is very light. The mounting hardware and system included with this is very easy to install. This one is much better than the 16" medalion I bought from Home Depot that had absolutely nothing with it for the installation. This medalion comes even with 2 types of screws. It's always so suprising to me, how just one medallion can make the whole room feel put together.

I would totally recommend having two people hold the medallion while someone installs it, if you want to keep your chandelier still intact. Other than that, it looks great - the roses/flowers stand out more in person than they do in the picture.

This medallion is very pretty but the description states it is light weight which it is actually much heavier than the other ceiling medallions I have purchased. I put it on my digital scale and it weighs 6.2 lbs. The underside of the medallion is not flat but grooved all throughout the pattern which makes gluing this much more difficult. Due to these two factors it is much more of a task to install than the lighter flat backed medallions. Keep this in mind when making your selection.

Fast shipping and looks great with our contemporary George Nelson pendant lamp. We did not use the included hardware, just the lighting fixture's hardware so it was very easy to install. A huge improvement over the cheap hardware store medallion.

$35 for a dopey 12" medallion with cheap plastic drywall anchors that split with a couple turns of a screw driver? Save your money, or better yet, buy a two piece 18" medallion from Westinghouse at half the price for a comparable size medallion from Focal Point. It looks so much better and you won't feel like an IdiotYankee.
